RECIPE: Steamed Macaroni Schotel
Ingredients:
100 grams of macaroni, boiled half cooked
4 slices bread without skin, cut into small
200 ml of liquid milk
2 eggs, beaten off
50 ml of liquid milk
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 pieces of beef sausage, sliced to taste
2 medium carrots, diced small
75 grams of grated cheddar cheese
Supplementary Material:
Chili sauce or tomato sauce
How to Make:
- Soak bread in milk (200 ml), stirring until soft and broken.
- Add salt, pepper, sausage, cheddar cheese and carrots. Stir well.
- Mix the eggs with the milk liquid (50 ml), beat until well blended. Set aside
- Enter the egg and milk mixture to the batter and stir well.
- Prepare a heat-resistant mold or pan measures 17 cm x 17 cm that have thin buttered.
- Arrange the macaroni in the bottom and the edge of the pan.
- Pour the batter mix ingredients until they run out.
- Cover the top with the remaining macaroni.
- Steam for 45 minutes or until cooked using medium heat.
- Remove the macaroni Schotel Steam from the boiler, allow it to heat is reduced, then remove from the mold that was not destroyed.
- Cut into pieces and serve Steamed Schotel Macaroni while warm with extra tomato sauce or chili sauce.
