RECIPE: Tteokbokki, Typical Korean Snacks




The main ingredient dish is tteokbokki or rice cake . Rice cake is a typical Korean food and you can easily get at the supermarket imported food that is in your city. It is white and rather soft, but usually the food is frozen at the supermarket. 
Other materials can also be sought in the supermarket is gochujang or red pepper paste. Raw foods is what will give a reddish color to the tteokbokki and make it look appealing. How do I create tteokbokki ? This is it.


Material
300 gr tteokbokki or rice cake oval
4-6 tbsp gochujang or red pepper paste
1 tablespoon sugar
4 cup water
7 scallions, cut into pieces 5 cm
7 large dried anchovies tail

How to Make
1. Separate the rice cake that does not stick together and make it easier to cut. Cut rice cake according to your tastes.
2. Prepare a pan, put 4 cups of water and all the dried anchovies that have been separated from the head and entrails. Simmer about 10 minutes over medium heat.
3. Drain the anchovies, put rice cake, chilli paste and sugar. Stir slowly.
4. Enter the leeks, stirring constantly, until thickened and cooked through.
5. Tteokbokki are ready to be served and enjoyed while watching your favorite drama.
